Participated in giving suggestions to Parliamentary Committees (Rajya Sabha Secretariat), Govt of India, New Delhi, on following topics:

National workshop on socio-economic status of Buddhist (2005) by National Commission for Religious and Linguistic Minority (NCRLM), organized by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Maharashtra and Yashwant Rao Chavan Academy of Development Administration (YASHADA), Centre for Equity and Social Justice, RajBhavan Complex, Baner Road, Pune. India.
I actively participated in discussion in factors responsible for backwardness for Buddhist in Indian states and regions and submitted a comprehensive report to the National Commission. I personally interacted with members of Commission and discussed my view in detail and reassured the Commission to take a note on these criteria/ points in formulating the National Policy for Emancipation and Empowerment of Buddhist in India. This workshop gave me a unique opportunity to express my well studied views and thoughts on programmes to be implemented by the Commission for Buddhists in India.
Founder Member, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Teachers Organization of University of Pune (1990). This is historical event for empowering of University faculty from reservation community.
Implemented Earn and Learn Scheme at the Department of Microbiology, University of Pune (1996 till date), very successfully. Per year 2 students from Department are selected. So far 25 students have taken benefits of the scheme.
Meeting of National Programme for Celebration of 2550 Jayanti of Lord Buddha in India (2006) by Government of India under the chairmanship of Dr. Bhalchandra Mungekar, Ex-Vice-Chancellor, Mumbai University and member of Planning Commission, Government of India, New Delhi. Meeting was held at Dr. Ambedkar Sanskrutik Bhavan, Pune. I was member of working committee for the event.
Global Pagoda, Mumbai. International Vipasana Centre (2006) played important role in organization of the same.
Launching of “Bahujan Hitay Maharashtra” Newspaper on behalf of Bahujan Hitay Media Sangh, Pune on the auspicious occasion of Ashoka Vijaya Dashmi, 2007.
Inauguration of Women’s Project, Bahujan Hitay Girls Hostel (2008), Vishrantwadi and Arya-Tara Mahila Trust, Vishrantwadi, Pune
Second International Buddhist Conference (2010) ‘Perspectives on Engaged Buddhisim’ 17-18 Apr 2010. I actively participated in this conference. This conference was organized by Dr. Bhalchandra Mungekar, Ex-Vice-Chancellor of Mumbai University, Ex-Member of Planning Commission and Member of Parliament, (Rajya Sabha), Govt. of India, New Delhi.

 

Extension and Field Outreach Activities :
Summer training and projects of school and college students from 1990- to present.
I have been guiding students from various colleges in Pune for summer training at Department of Microbiology, University of Pune (1988 to present).
I have been guiding students students for the projects sponsored by Exploratory, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Pune (1990 to present).
I have been guiding students students for Biotechnology projects for undergraduate Biotechnology students from Ahmednagar College, Ahmednagar, 1999-2003 and Modern College Pune since 2000.

 

Dalit studies at University of Pune :
Active participation for introduction of Dalit Studies at the University of Pune from 2006 onwards.
